Operating Guidance
This guide consolidates the core operating flows for DogeBox after unboxing: setup, reserving CYS, understanding rewards, and managing CYS claims and withdrawals. Use it as the primary reference for day-to-day operation.
1. Set Up and Configure Your DogeBox
- Power on the DogeBox and place it where airflow is stable and the Wi-Fi signal is reliable.
- Open the companion mobile app or web app and sign in or create your account.
- Pair the device with your account. DogeBox supports Wi-Fi connectivity, and credentials can be provisioned through BLE during onboarding.
- Confirm the device is online and mining. Once initial configuration is complete, the unit should begin DOGE/LTC mining and reporting status in the app.
- Keep the device powered and connected so it can maintain uptime and participate in supported hardware-node activities.
Setup Checklist
- Stable power connection
- Reliable internet connection
- Bound account and wallet
- Device status visible in the app
- Mining activity confirmed
2. Reserve CYS for Hardware-Node Participation
To enable Cysic-network functions and participate in incentive programs, you may need to reserve a minimum amount of CYS. This reserve can help support eligibility, Sybil resistance, and other network security requirements.
- Prepare the wallet linked to your DogeBox account.
- Make sure the wallet holds the required CYS amount and the appropriate gas token on the target network.
- If your assets are on another chain, bridge them to the supported network before proceeding.
- In the hardware-node app, navigate to the reserve or activation flow for your device.
- Review the amount to be reserved, approve the transaction, and wait for on-chain confirmation.
- Confirm the device shows as activated, reserved, or otherwise eligible for participation in the app interface.
Before You Reserve
- Verify you are using the correct wallet
- Confirm the target network is correct
- Keep enough gas token for approval and reserve transactions
- Double-check whether the reserve is locked for a period of time
3. Claim CYS Rewards
Reward availability depends on the network's emission schedule, device eligibility, and measured participation. In practice, the app should show when rewards become claimable.
- Open the app and review your device status, contribution history, and available rewards.
- Check that the connected wallet is the one entitled to claim for the device.
- Select the claim action and review the amount shown as claimable.
- Approve the transaction in your wallet.
- Wait for network confirmation and verify the claimed balance has been updated.
Claiming Notes
- Claim timing may depend on epoch settlement or campaign rules
- Claimable rewards can differ from estimated rewards
- Failed or pending transactions are usually caused by network mismatch, insufficient gas, or wallet misconfiguration
4. Understand Your CYS Rewards
CYS rewards are tied to verified participation rather than simple device ownership. In practical terms, rewards depend on whether your DogeBox is eligible, online, correctly configured, and actively contributing during the relevant reward period.
What Affects Rewards
- Device uptime and reliable connectivity
- Successful activation and any required CYS reserve
- Eligibility under the active emission schedule or campaign rules
- Measured participation recorded by the network and surfaced in the app
How to Read Reward Information
Estimated rewardsare directional and may change before settlementClaimable rewardsare the amount currently available to claimClaimed rewardsare amounts already transferred through the claim flow- Delays can happen when an epoch, campaign, or settlement cycle has not yet finalized
5. Withdraw CYS
After claiming, you may choose to keep CYS in the operating wallet, move it to another wallet, or withdraw it to another supported destination based on the app and network you are using.
- Confirm whether the CYS is already in your wallet after claiming or whether a separate withdrawal action is required.
- If withdrawal is supported through the app, enter the destination wallet carefully and review the network.
- Check fees, minimum withdrawal amounts, and any lock or cooldown conditions.
- Submit the withdrawal and wait for final confirmation.
- Verify receipt at the destination wallet before treating the transfer as complete.
Withdrawal Safety Checks
- Confirm the destination address and network match
- Do not move reserved or locked tokens unless they are explicitly available
- Keep a small gas balance if additional on-chain actions may still be required
6. Ongoing Operating Best Practices
- Keep the DogeBox online consistently, since mining output is a practical signal of device uptime
- Check the app regularly for connectivity, participation, and reward status
- Maintain wallet access securely and back up any recovery material according to your wallet provider's guidance
- Review network announcements before changing reserve, claim, or withdrawal behavior
